The night deepened. Yufan stood before his senior sister’s door and knocked softly. As it opened, her eyes were filled with concern. "Fan'er, are you alright?" Yufan smiled and shook his head. "Do not worry, Senior Sister, I am unharmed."

After bidding her farewell, he turned and walked toward the residence of Elder Sword. The elder was resting with his eyes closed by the candlelight; hearing the footsteps, he slowly opened them. "Fan'er, you have come at the right time. I have learned that a great treasure will appear at the Qi Refining Hall tonight. You shall accompany me."

Yufan’s heart stirred. He cupped his hands and said, "Elder, I wish to go alone." Elder Sword furrowed his brows, but seeing the resolve in Yufan's eyes, he finally nodded. "Very well, be careful."

The night grew darker, and Yufan’s cyan robes stood out starkly against the rain. He stood before the entrance of the Qi Refining Hall, his gaze like a torch, ready to face the challenges ahead. Inside, the hall was brightly lit, and the disciples stood in strict formation, all eyes fixed upon the youth in cyan.

A disciple of the Qi Refining Hall stepped forward, wielding a long sword with an imposing aura. Yufan smiled faintly, his figure flickering and vanishing from his spot. In the next instant, he appeared before the disciple, his blade flashing as he thrust toward a vital point. The disciple was startled and scrambled to parry, but Yufan’s swordsmanship was exquisite, each strike as elusive as a phantom.

Their figures intertwined amidst the rain, sword light and spirit energy weaving a breathtaking scene. Finally, during a clash, Yufan spotted a vulnerability. His sword lunged like a dragon emerging from the sea, pointing straight at the disciple’s heart. The disciple’s expression froze, his sword flew from his hand, and he was sent spiraling backward, crashing heavily to the ground.

The night was as black as ink, with gale-force winds driving heavy raindrops against the earth. Within the curtain of rain, two figures darted like specters. Yufan, in his cyan attire, his long hair dancing in the wind, held a gaze of unshakable determination. His opponent, a disciple of the Refining Sect, was burly and wielded a heavy war hammer, each step seeming to crack the ground beneath him.

Yufan moved like lightning, closing the distance in an instant. His sword flashed, aiming for the disciple’s throat. The opponent reacted with surprising speed, swinging his hammer in a horizontal sweep that collided with the blade, creating a deafening roar. Both were driven back several steps, but Yufan’s assault did not cease. Utilizing the Mizo Footwork, he appeared instantly behind his opponent, his sword thrusting with sharp, piercing energy. The Refining Sect disciple turned to swing his hammer, but it was too late; he could only watch as the tip of the blade drew near.

Yufan stopped his sword an inch from the disciple’s throat. A flicker of mercy passed through his eyes before he sheathed his blade, leaped gracefully away, and vanished into the distance.

Yufan raced through the wind and rain like an arrow. Though resolute, he could not help but feel a tremor of tension as he faced the myriad dangers of the Qi Refining Hall. The wind howled and the rain intensified, yet his stride grew only more steadfast.

In the blink of an eye, he arrived at the deepest part of the hall: the Qi Refining Pagoda. It was a towering structure, its body shimmering with a faint light, as if mysterious power pulsed within. Yufan took a deep breath, steadied his heart, and stepped through the gates of the pagoda.

Upon entering, a wave of scorching heat rushed toward him. Flickering firelight illuminated the surroundings. Yufan’s gaze swept quickly across the room, revealing an array of instruments used for refining qi. Various colored vapors swirled throughout the pagoda, forming strange, glowing rings.
