Unable to make sense of it, she stopped trying and bluntly asked, “Kid, which faction are you from? You dare meddle in Pandora’s affairs—have you thought about the consequences?”

Seeing the other side hesitating, unwilling to make a move, and now shouting out, Chen Jing sighed helplessly and said, “Can you stop with the pointless chatter? If you want to fight, hurry up—I’m pressed for time.”

Hearing Chen Jing’s indifferent response, the revealing woman’s fury erupted. She glared at him, snarling, “You’re courting death!” Then she ordered her subordinates, “Go! Take him out!”

The members of Pandora no longer cared about anything else; they charged at Chen Jing with ferocity.

One member raised his hand and fired a shot at Chen Jing, aiming directly at him. Chen Jing’s body shifted slightly, dodging the bullet in an instant. He gripped his dagger tightly, the corners of his mouth curving into a faint smile, and suddenly accelerated, charging straight toward his opponents.

Seeing the first shot miss, all the Pandora members raised their guns to continue firing.

The one at the front barely lifted his gun before a dagger was plunged straight into his skull, killing him on the spot. The other four members were terrified, firing wildly, but Chen Jing nimbly dodged every bullet.

The distance between Chen Jing and the four grew smaller, as he kept dodging and closing in. At last, he faced the first Pandora member.

That member saw Chen Jing approaching and squeezed the trigger frantically, but no matter how he tried, he couldn’t hit Chen Jing. When he realized Chen Jing was almost upon him, he cried out, “This is insane!”

He clenched his right fist and swung a heavy punch toward Chen Jing’s face, believing that even if his opponent had powers, this punch would lay him out.

But could he really hit Chen Jing? Of course not.

As the punch came at him, Chen Jing tilted his head ever so slightly, letting the fist graze past his cheek. Without slowing his pace, Chen Jing closed in, and with a straight right, punched the enemy squarely in the chest.

A sharp crack sounded—the unmistakable snap of bones breaking. Chen Jing tossed his head aside, not sparing another glance, and rushed at the next enemy.

Blood sprayed from the member’s lips as he fell to his knees, clutching his chest, and then collapsed sideways, body stiff.

The remaining three saw Chen Jing dispatch two of their own in the blink of an eye and were struck with terror.

“Damn!” one shouted, tossing his gun aside and charging at Chen Jing without hesitation.

His left hand formed a claw, swiping viciously at Chen Jing. Chen Jing was about to dodge casually, but his gaze caught the metallic sheen on the man’s fingernails. His heart tensed—he instantly pivoted to the left, widening the gap between himself and the incoming claw.

Sure enough, Chen Jing’s guess was right. As the claw came down, the man’s fingernails suddenly extended, becoming razor-sharp blades five centimeters long, tearing through Chen Jing’s shirt.

Fortunately, Chen Jing had anticipated and created distance, or he would surely have been injured.

While sidestepping, Chen Jing didn’t pause; his right hand became a knife, and as he dodged the claw, he struck the opponent’s neck with a fierce hand chop.

Bones cracked again—this time, the enemy fell before he could react, his body twitching on the ground.

Of the remaining two, one was an ordinary member without powers, but he wasn’t about to sit and wait for death. He lunged at Chen Jing, and as Chen Jing shifted his stance after his last move, the man wrapped his arms tightly around Chen Jing, locking him in place.

Chen Jing frowned, about to exert force and break free, when he saw the last Pandora member lift his gun.

“Tch!” Chen Jing spat disdainfully, then kicked off with both feet, spinning his body to use the man holding him as a shield, blocking the other’s aim. Now, the enemy would hesitate to shoot—if he fired, he’d hit his own comrade first.

But to Chen Jing’s surprise, the remaining member hesitated only briefly, then gritted his teeth and fired anyway.

Seeing the determination in the man’s face, Chen Jing realized danger. In a split second, he drove his knee into the man holding him, causing him to jump, and with a powerful wrench, broke free from the embrace. Then, using both hands, he pushed the enemy’s body toward the shooter.

Three shots rang out—each hitting the ordinary member, one even striking his neck.

The last member had to catch his comrade’s collapsing body. He saw his friend’s wide, shocked eyes staring at him, unable to speak.

With a cold, hostile look, he said, “Black, don’t blame me—if it were you, I’m sure you’d do the same.” He shoved the body aside and lifted his head to search for Chen Jing, only to find Chen Jing already pressing a gun to his forehead.

Terrified, he barely managed to shout, “Don’t—”

Bang! Before he could finish, his life ended.

Chen Jing had no patience for pleas, especially from someone who disregarded his comrade’s life.

After dealing with the five, Chen Jing turned to the remaining revealing woman and the burly man at her side.

Neither had joined the fray alongside their subordinates, which surprised Chen Jing.

There were only two possible reasons: either they thought their underlings would get in the way, or they were confident the two of them could handle everything.

But whichever the case, it didn’t matter to Chen Jing. What mattered was solving the problem.

He shook the gun in his hand and smiled. “So, are you two planning to surrender?”

The revealing woman eyed the gun warily, hiding behind her male companion and sneering, “You are certainly formidable, but you’re no match for us. It’s you who should consider surrendering.”

Chen Jing shrugged indifferently and sighed, “So there’s nothing to discuss, then.” He fired a shot at once.

Bang! The bullet struck the burly man between the brows. But to Chen Jing’s surprise, the supposedly fatal shot merely left a small dent—his skin wasn’t even broken.

Watching the man’s skin take on a metallic sheen, Chen Jing realized this was his power.

To test it, Chen Jing fired several more shots, but none could harm him.

The burly man wasn’t foolish enough to stand still as a target; he charged straight at Chen Jing, understanding now that bullets posed little threat.

Chen Jing kept firing, but aside from slightly slowing the man’s advance, it had no effect.

Passing a corpse, Chen Jing seized the chance to pull the dagger from its forehead, just as he faced the burly man.

He twisted the dagger in his right hand and slashed upward at the man’s throat. The blade met the skin, but Chen Jing felt as if he were scraping metal. The sharp dagger left only a faint line—no blood at all.

The burly man didn’t care what moves Chen Jing used. He closed in with a heavy punch.

Chen Jing barely dodged, then jumped and whipped his leg at the man’s head. If blades and bullets didn’t work, perhaps close combat would reveal a weakness.

This time, the burly man didn’t take the hit head-on; he raised his left arm to block the kick.

A metallic clang resounded—Chen Jing felt as if he’d kicked a steel plate.

As Chen Jing was still airborne, the burly man charged, crashing into him with force.

Chen Jing pressed down on his opponent’s shoulder, borrowing momentum to flip over, landing on the man’s back. He gripped the shoulders, legs together, and drove his knee with all his strength into his opponent’s spine.

“Go down.”

A dull thud sounded—the burly man couldn’t withstand the force, and Chen Jing slammed him to the ground.

Chen Jing was about to follow up with another attack when he sensed danger and rolled aside, dodging a bullet.

It was the revealing woman who had fired. She continued to shoot, forcing Chen Jing to retreat. The burly man took the opportunity to get up, seemingly unfazed by the heavy blow.

Chen Jing paused a short distance away, watching as the woman approached and joined the burly man, not rushing to act. He laughed, “So, your power is skin hardening—disaster-level controller, no less. That’s impressive.”

The woman ceased her pointless shooting and laughed viciously. “Hmph, you’ll be seeing plenty more surprises soon.”

“Oh? What else could surprise me?” Chen Jing narrowed his eyes with a smile. “Is it your power, perhaps? Care to tell me what it is?”

“My power?” The woman gazed into his eyes, licked her lips, her smile seductive. “It’s charm.” With that, she unleashed her ability, aiming straight at Chen Jing.

Bad news! Chen Jing’s expression changed dramatically; he tried to react, but it was too late.

His body trembled, then froze, standing motionless.

Seeing Chen Jing fall victim, the woman was elated. “Hehehe, kid, you’re mine now.”
