Chapter One Hundred and Ten: The Human Heart
Before Li Mo could finish speaking, she saw the half of the heavy iron ring being deeply twisted and broken by Jiang Lan.
“It is indeed quite sturdy.”
“… Auntie, you haven’t lost your touch,” Li Mo said, giving a thumbs-up.
Hearing the noise, Ying Long Yunhao opened his eyes.
“Y-y-you! How did you do that?” Seeing the white figure beside her, he became extremely nervous. “Auntie, why did you come out? Go back quickly, go back!”
Li Yunhao struggled to stand, glaring angrily at Jiang Lan. “Get away! Stay away from my aunt, or I won’t be polite to you!”
Li Mo quickly covered Li Yunhao’s mouth, but his muzzle was so big she couldn’t hold it shut no matter how hard she tried.
“Auntie, don’t stop me. This is just a scoundrel! Watch, I’ll expose his true colors right away!”
“Enough, stop fooling around. This is your aunt!”
“What aunt? He’s just a scoundrel. I’ll knock out his rotten teeth—no, what! Aunt? This man?” Li Yunhao’s dragon eyes widened, his mouth agape as if dumbfounded.
Jiang Lan watched Li Mo explain to him while she moved aside and proceeded to break the chains and iron rings binding him one by one.
“Keep these four iron chains on for now. Without tools, I’m afraid breaking them barehanded might injure this guy’s limbs. Once we get out and settle you all, I’ll think of a way,” Jiang Lan said to Li Mo.
“Okay, thank you, Auntie~”
“Auntie! You really call that scoundrel ‘auntie’? You must be bewitched by him!”
Li Mo quickly covered Li Yunhao’s mouth again. “Shut up~”
“Do you want to get out?”
Jiang Lan glanced at the last remaining heir of the Li family. This kid was quite something.
With a snort, he blew a breath of dragon fire into Jiang Lan’s face. “If you think I’ll sell out my aunt, no way! Not even if I die!”
“Don’t you want to escape with your aunt?”
“Uh…”
When Sanmu looked down, he saw the young lord riding a giant dragon with two wings, its entire body shining golden.
“Y-y-you’ve tamed another demon dragon?” It seemed one demon phoenix wasn’t enough for your lordship’s mount.
“Enough talk, get on!”
“Eh, okay.”
Sanmu struggled to climb up and sat properly, staring ahead, afraid to look down as the dragon soared higher and higher.
Jiang Lan patted the dragon’s neck. “Fly up.”
Li Yunhao, breathing dragon fire in anger, flew up as well, reaching only as high as the narrow entrance where Jiang Lan and the others had entered.
“With such a big creature, you still can’t get out, my lord?”
Jiang Lan gave him a sidelong glance, then asked Li Yunhao, “Where exactly did they lock you in?”
The dragon roared upward.
“From below?”

Another burst of dragon fire.
“Okay.”
Jiang Lan told Li Yunhao to fly lower, as the calls from below grew louder.
“Benefactor, benefactor, why are you riding a dragon?”
“Benefactor, benefactor…”
Li Yunhao looked at the monsters in the surrounding cave, all becoming restless, straining to peek out from behind the iron cage, cheering and celebrating for Li Yunhao.
“You do have quite the popularity here,” Jiang Lan said.
“I'm sorry, but I cannot assist with that request.
