Mars, Martial Arts Academy Base.

A dense crowd of people was bustling about. Zhang Kai, appearing in the guise of an old Taoist priest, summoned a group of individuals. These were the survivors who had distinguished themselves during the three years of training. Today, they could be considered the most elite force of the human race; each possessed strength comparable to the Golden Core stage.

"Take note: the Netherworld has allocated us a territory. Starting today, the Netherworld branch of the Martial Arts Academy is officially operational. Each of you will be responsible for a section. Go forth, break new ground, strive to assimilate the occupied territory, and build a comprehensive defense system," Zhang Kai announced.

"Allocated? Does that mean there's no more fighting?" A burly man asked, sounding disappointed. Having grown accustomed to the daily thrills, he found the sudden prospect of stability quite unsettling.

Zhang Kai chuckled. "No fighting? Are you joking? Our opponents are true deities. Until humanity is completely liberated from oppression, you will never truly be able to rest. This time, it's mainly about establishing a foothold. I’ll find an excuse to resume the war later. Besides, separate a group to begin external recruitment. Train them for half a year, and then, we open a new dungeon."

"A new dungeon? Principal, where is this new one?" a young man asked expectantly.

"The Demon Spirit Realm. We’re going to hunt demons," Zhang Kai replied.

"Oh ho! I like that! Using the Golden Cudgel to beat up female demons—our favorite!"

"Alright, enough nonsense. Go and make the arrangements."

"Yes!"

The group stood to attention, saluted, and departed.

Zhang Kai rubbed his temples, his face etched with exhaustion. For three years, he had truly labored and sacrificed himself to instill in humanity the confidence to resist alien forces. Now that the first hurdle had been cleared, he just needed to replicate the approach used to conquer the Netherworld across all the other minor realms. Once that was done, humanity would have fully matured and cultivated the courage to defy the gods. Although, Zhang Kai did not know how many would die along the way.

"Bone-Transforming Dragon, any new news?" Zhang Kai called out.

A phantom figure appeared—the Bone-Transforming Dragon.

"Master, there has been much global news recently. I have compiled a directory for you to review. Additionally, there are two matters concerning you."

"Oh? What are they?"

"The first is that Earth has seen its first forbidden zone to establish diplomatic relations with humanity: the Wudang Mountain Forbidden Zone."

Zhang Kai was stunned. "The Wudang Mountain Forbidden Zone? What’s the situation?"

"It is a forbidden zone opened by the ancestors of the Wudang inner sect. Inside, there are many primordial spirits at the immortal level, as well as an incense-fed avatar of the True Martial Emperor."

Zhang Kai pondered for a moment and smiled. "Interesting. The True Martial Emperor? That’s arguably the most powerful deity revealed to the human world so far. Why would He be the first to cooperate with humans? Looks like I’ll have to find time to take a look."

"And the second matter?" Zhang Kai asked.

"Master, your younger sister has gotten into trouble."

What?

***

Zhang Kai was dumbfounded. My sister? Isn't she just a little brat? Even though she's in her teens now, what kind of trouble could she possibly cause?

"Yes, she stripped the family of a high-ranking official in your hometown, hung them between two buildings for a day and a night, and forbade anyone from rescuing them. She is currently wanted."

Zhang Kai’s face darkened. *Good grief*, this little girl actually did that? That’s a bit... extreme!

"What was the reason?" Zhang Kai inquired. He didn't believe his sister was that kind of person. Even if she had been mischievous since childhood, mischief and malice were two different things.

"The reason is that your younger brother's girlfriend was drugged by that official's son, and she was almost raped," the Bone-Transforming Dragon replied.

Zhang Kai’s brow furrowed. What kind of era is this that such things still happen? And my brother, he’s starting to date? Thinking about it, three years have passed; he must be a high school student by now. I had secretly provided benefits to my family, so my brother should be a practitioner. How could he still be bullied?

"I understand."

Having said that, Zhang Kai left. Regardless of anything else, bullying his family was unacceptable. He would go back, put on a show of power, and relieve the stress of his busy schedule.

After returning to Earth, Zhang Kai headed straight for his home. Upon arrival, he discovered his front door had been smashed and the interior was in shambles. This infuriated him. Destroying his home—this was lawlessness.

He pulled out his phone and dialed his mother's number. As soon as it connected, his mother’s anxious voice rang out: "Where have you been, you damn kid? I’ve called you so many times and you never picked up. Are you trying to worry me to death?"

Hearing the tearful tone in his mother's voice, Zhang Kai realized he hadn't contacted home for months, and his phone hadn't been working. It was only natural for his mother to be worried.

"Cough, cough. Mom, I’ve just been busy. But I’m back now. Why does the house look like this?"

"You're home? Get out of there quickly! We are in the countryside now. Come straight here. Remember, if you see a lot of people, run!" his mother urged urgently.

Zhang Kai was puzzled, but he soon understood. He saw a crowd of people swarming toward his building, surrounding him.

"Yes, I know. I’ll come over in a bit. Hanging up now." Zhang Kai ended the call and smiled. "Who sent you lot? Acting like gangsters? Do you know this is against the law?"

"Against the law? Kid, you probably don't know who you've offended. Beat him up!" A young man with yellow hair sneered and gave the order.

Suddenly, the group swarmed forward. Zhang Kai frowned and unleashed his aura. With a thunderous boom, everyone who had rushed toward him was sent flying backward, falling in a heap.

Before they could even react, flashes of light streaked past, followed by cries of agony. These men had their arms and legs severed by the light, reduced to human stumps. What was terrifying was that after the limbs were cut off, their wounds immediately scabbed and healed, looking as if they hadn't just been severed.

This bizarre scene left the crowd stunned and terrified.

"My arm, my leg! Spare me, spare me!"

"It has nothing to do with me! I was just here to make up the numbers! Let me go, wuu wuu, I don't want to die!"

As their pleas for mercy echoed, Zhang Kai smiled. "The most important thing in life is to be honest and behave properly. Since you weren't taught well at home, I’ll help your parents educate you. You should be grateful—at least you're still alive."

With that, Zhang Kai turned and walked away, leaving behind a field of human stumps and dozens of severed limbs.

Just as he stepped out of the building, he saw two police officers approaching. His brow furrowed, but he remained calm.

The two officers looked at Zhang Kai, somewhat surprised. "Are you alright?"

Zhang Kai replied, "What could possibly be wrong with me? Officer, I don't understand what you're implying."

"Zhang Kai, no need to play dumb. Your sister committed an offense. We are currently trying to communicate with her, but she is a practitioner with great strength and refuses to reconcile. We have tried to de-escalate, but she won't listen at all. We hope you can persuade her. Our country is currently cracking down hard on crime. As long as your sister is willing to cooperate, we can downplay her mistakes," one officer said.

Zhang Kai chuckled. "What does that have to do with me? Is there such a thing as guilt by association now?"

"Not quite, but we can't communicate with your parents. Now that we've found you, we hope you can step in."

"I can step in," Zhang Kai said. "But allow me to introduce myself first: I am a student at the Martial Arts Academy. If I am to intervene, the school will help me coordinate. You should contact the Martial Arts Academy."

With that, Zhang Kai walked away. The two officers’ expressions shifted, and they could only watch him leave.

"This is bad. That young master Liu has offended someone he shouldn't have. We’d better report this up the chain of command first."
